Hello,
Our company owns a Nortel Meridian Option 61c PBX. I have a modest amount of knowledge about how to program everyday changes, but I do not know a lot about configuring dialing plans and more in-depth features.

The local carrier recently changed over to 10 digit local dialing. Our 61c does is not configured for this. It automatically dials out after receiving 7 digits from a handset. I can complete a call by dialing local numbers like long distance numbers, but that's not a real solution. Would there be anybody with 61c knowledge willing to help me reconfigure our dialing plan for 10 digit local dialing? I understand LDs and PRT commands and general system syntax, just not where to look to change what needs to be changed.

Thanks,
Casey

Hello Casey

It's probably a "FLEN" length that needs to be changed and increased by one digit.
Use the attached guide to get a list of all your networking information.
It's most likely that you will need to make the change in LD 90.
