Are there any books out there like 'Meridians for Dummies' or such? I'm looking for a good tutorial and reference on my opt11c and also on OTM. Otherwise the learning curve is just so slow. I know enough to keep the system going and make small changes but that's about it. When it comes to features its hard to know what is or isn't doable, let alone HOW to do it. I searched Amazon but the only Nortel books were related to Networking. There has got to be enough demand that there shoul be something out there.

Thoughts? Are there any good websites to start with? Thanks.

Do you have a vendor for PBX support? If so next time you call in a ticket, ask to burn his nortel cd's. All your answers and more are in there. Otherwise ask questions here, that is what this website work

your orig post is a major oxymoron in itself. i need a book to learn the opt 11 and otm.. if you ever want to learn a switch, turn otm off and learn the switch. do a search for nortel+merl, you'll find a complete set of all nortel manuals with that... start in load 10 and 11, and follow the forums.. only good news is that it is not as hard as it looks, if i can make it work, smart people should find it very simple
