Nortel meridian 11c Interface Question

My company owns hotels that uses the Nortel Meridian 11c system. We are exploring a new option of a "mini bar" type scenario.. where items are put in the rooms for guest consumtion and then billed through the telephone. Does Meridian support this type of interface? We would want it to do some type of inventory and push the billing record over to our Property Management System that would apply that charge to the guest room folio.

Is it realistic to try this with the 11c?

The Meridian does not but the HMS voicemail does and this will interface with the Meridian. You may have to upgrade to make this happen.

there are some issues with the hms 400. according to nortel they have move the hms 400 to a new platform. i am not sure when they will roll it out.

You could also contact FCS. I belive they originally developed HMS for Nortel, but have now expanded on it.
