Ok, this phone system is still acting crazy. I have been authorized to post a question and see if any techs that are familiar with this system are around the Salem Indiana area? If not, does anyone know somebody who is? Have a number for a company?
Thanks.

Have thought to try google or yellow pages etc? or whom ever handles the system currently?

I'm the one who's currently handling the system- possibly part of the problem... LOL
To say I'm a rookie is an understatement. As I've said before, it's not my line of work or prefession- it became my job when my previous manager retired.

Thanks Firebird Scrambler but I actually already did:

I admit I must slightly revise that info though. I've heard through a third party something different so maybe I remembered wrong? LOL

The current problem I've been told (at the moment) is one lady in the front (dn 38) answered an incoming call and it was for the general manager (dn 24) of the company; she transferred it to her and she (the manager) said when she picked it up, no one was there (hung up?).
Another time a call was transferred to her (by the same lady in the front office) it rang one time and went to her voicemail.
Strange things happening...

Keep wondering if a reboot would fix the problems as the system log says it's been up since 2012 (it's on a battery backup). Maybe it's like computers and needs a reboot occasionally (comes with risk I know though as the failing capacitor that retains settings may or my not retain all of the settings and it may have to be completely reprogrammed)!
