Does anyone know how to cancel automatic call forwarding on a Nortel M8009 telephone that's connected to a Meridian 1 option 11c pbx....

User said that this did not work. How do you set call forwarding. I have a M8314 here and can test using it.

To forward calls from an analog (500/2500 type) telephone:
1 Lift the handset and dial SPRE 74 + number
or lift the handset and dial #1 + number (2500 telephone)

2 Hang up.

To cancel Call Forward All Calls:
• Lift the handset and dial SPRE 74
or lift the handset and dial #1 (2500 telephone)

I tried #1 and got a busy signal. I'm not sure what you mean by "SPRE 74

SPRE is the "special prefix" You can find it in the Customer DataBlock

Code:
>LD 21
REQ: PRT
TYPE: CDB
CUST 0
<Carraige Return Through>
<Look for SPRE>

Default SPRE is "1" so you would dial 174 to cancel call forward.

i thought he was trying to take it off.. if all else fails, take it out and put it back in.. leave fna out of the cls. if the spre+cfwd codes do not take it off, call your next level of support (me)
