Hello,

Can someone please help me. I am tring to figure-out how the CTA-100 communicates (talks-to) the Nortel KSU (switch in our phone closet). We currently use the CTA-100 to administrate our phone system (restrict calls, etc). Therefore, the CTA-100 MUST "talk" to the KSU in some way, shape or form. If someone could shed some light on this subject, I would greatly appreicate it.

Thanks in advance,
Mark G. Rideout

The same way the phones "talk" to the KSU, which is via copper cable.

Thank you very much...that very helpful. What I mean by "talk" is in the TAPI of the KSU or the CTA-100. How does the two pieces of equipment communicate between each other via CODE?
