vp 324 gets hot and not lighting up the module,Any suggestion? patched to 5 and 6 on the cat 5 jack

KLMs are polarity sensitive. Positive needs to be on Tip.

thanks for all your help, Just to clarify rg11 jack pin out 1&4 power, 2&3 line from PBX
Cat 5 module 4&5 line, 3&6 power from VP324 3 Positive 6 Negative Could of already burded out if it was reversed?

Reversing the polarity shouldn't hurt the KLM, it just won't work. If none of the buttons are working, follow Dewey's suggestion, and flip the pair.

If polarity is reversed you'll just have steady lites on the KLM. If you have a meter make sure your power supply is outputting 24VDC and is rated at least 300mA.
