Nortel IP Sets - 1100 series - Non back light 2

If I recall the silver faced 1100 series originally came with no back light....I am I correct?

If so then what are the non back light part numbers (or other ways) to watch out for so I do not mistakenly purchase them?

I was thinking it was the add on modules like for the 1140 that weren't backlit. But you could backlight them with local power. Cant remember for sure though

I don't remember any 1120/1140 phones that weren't backlit. The backlight could be shut off in the phone settings. The add-on modules definitely need a local power supply for backlight.

1200 series phones had no backlight option.
