Greetings,

My department is new to IP Phones. We just received word that we must reconfigure over 1000 IP Phones that are set throughout a large campus.

Is there a way to remotely configure them, or create a script? All we have to do is change from duplex to auto, but it is 12 plus keystrokes, and unplugging the patch cord.

I appreciate any help.

There isn't anyway to automatically change the speed/duplex settings. Most anything else (IP, call server info, etc) can be changed via DHCP. As far as I know, you will need to physically touch each telephone.

To keep from having to unplug the power cords on each phone to reset, you can repower the 200X phones by these steps:
MUTE key

DOWN arrow

DOWN arrow
UP arrow
MUTE key
9
release key
