The Polycom 4000, Cisco 7936, Avaya 4690 and Nortel 2033 use a powered triangular injector hub to give power plus Ethernet to the IP conference phone. The phones all use the same mics, AC Adapter and cords - but is the hub interchangeable too?
The plain black unmarked ones work on the Avaya, Cisco & Polycom conference phones - but does the 2033 require the specially marked Nortel triangle hub?
And how can you tell which models of 2033's can do real 802.1 PoE?
