Nortel IODU/C NT5D61AB UPGRADE

I am new to telecommunications have a NT5D61AB labeled Rlse 10 and the customer has asked if it could be upgraded to a release 29. I can not fine the answer doing a regular search. Could anyone tell me if this is possible, and if so how to go about getting what is needed for an
antedated device. Thank You.
