I have recently programmed the feature Distinctive Ring by DN on a few sets and notice some ..oddities. Using CS1000 Server system/old M2616 sets: I can only change 1 DN to a distinctive ring per set. Changing any other DN to different ring (DNRI - 1-4) - all rings sound the same after that. For eg. I change key 2 to DNRI 2, and then change key 3 to DNRI 3 : - they both sound alike. Could this be due to lack of NT8D17 card in system (cannot change FTC cadances for BCS set)?

NDR1 BCS Network Distinctive Ring 1 cadence for proprietary sets.
- XTON 0-(2)-15 NT8D17 TDS Tone code.
- XCAD 0-(2)-15 NT8D17 TDS Cadence code.
Also, after changing sets, a DNB print doesn't show each set with the distinctive ring. Today I had a single appearance DN. I changed it to DNRI -3 and then added this DN to another set with DNRI - 3 also. When I printed the DNB, it only showed one tn listing the DNRI-3 the 2nd TN of the DNB showed DNRI- 0. I re-programmed the primary TN and the DNRO - 3 information switched to the other DNB/TN. The TNB shows both sets with the DNRI - 3.

Does anyone know why this occurs? Can I can get more than 1 distinctive by DN on a set ( 2-4 DN's each with its own ring - DNRI -1-4, as per the NTP) with the CS1000 syatem w/o a NT8D17 card?
