Does any one know if the
NT7B65LKE6 - Nortel Digital Mobility Service Kit
is the exact same as the
02319508 - Polycom Programming Kit for Repeater and Base Station

Since it's all "Kirk" I cant see why it would be different wiring.

At the same time I am thinking it's s standard RJ45 to Serial console cable.
If it was then I could buy it separate along with something similar to this adapter.
But I do not know the wiring scheme.

They mostly likely did...
Kirk was Kirk and they started to brand for Nortel when BCM came out.
Sepctralink acquired Kirk
Polycom acquired Spectralink

I am guessing the wiring is the same for what I want but will assume firmware's are all different for the, controller, base stations and handsets.

I have the service kit somewhere in my stuff but have to find it. I remember it was a serial cable with a rj11 slitter that on cable goes to the repeater you need to program and second cable goes to the serial cable that sends the programming out , connected to the pc/laptop over serial port and using the special software tool that controls the programming.
Hope it helps.

Thanks, I am just wondering if Polycom's version of the Kit is the exact same.

If it is I may just purchase it instead as it is half the price, but knowing the pin outs would be even better as I could just as easily make a Y splitter.
