I have a Nortel cs1000e running in a hospital all of my analog phones work out of Tenor ax boxes sense I upgraded to 6.0 on the nortel every time an analog phone receives a call you heard 2 burst of dtmf before the voice cuts thru I trapped the dtmf and it is the ext number of the analog phone being called can anyone tell me how to stop this

are they using SIP to communicate?

yes they are using sip sorry I didn't include that info

see if the IP that the Tenor is pointing at is the TLAN NRS IP address and not the Gateway address.

SIP changed from 5.x to 6.x, now it NRS can be a redirect and proxy, and it works differently.

I'm not sure what your talking about the end points in the NRS are dynamic so the Nrs learnes the tenor address and the tenor is registering

the endpoints register as either "redirect" or "proxy" SIP works differently then it did on 5.x

Try using UDP as the protocol instead of TCP between the NRS and END point.

You can try to turn off Media security in LD17 on the PBX if you have it enabled.

You might want to make sure you have the latest patches/ loadware on MGC or SMC and Firmware on the IP Phones.

Just giving suggestions.....
