Nortel Contivity VPN error message...

howdy. I had been able to login to my company's network just fine until a week ago. Everything seemed fine until when the VPN was about to logon, I rec'd an error message:

'Login failed due to driver failure'

Tek Tips was the only place I found anything about this message. I verified that both possible causes mentioned there were not valid in my case.

My co's Help Desk feels it's probably malware of some sort.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled both IPASS and VPN twice but no change.

Anyone have any experience with this error, or have any idears?
