I have a Nortel CICS 4.1 s/w, and I would like to know if it is possible to program 2 extensions to be muted from receieving pages when an all page is issued, yet still be able to make pages from these extensions. They are located in an area that we would like to prevent from hearing the general page yet still get direct intercom calls. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

The two settings you are looking for are the following:

Terminals & Sets > Capabilities > Page Zone: None
Terminals & Sets > Capabilities > Paging: Yes

The first setting, Page Zone, assigns the set to a page zone. It can also be set to None, in which case it prevents the set from receiving pages.

The second setting, Paging, allows a set to make pages.
