Nortel CCR tree Path? HELP Please!

HELP PLEASE FROM ANY CARING SOUL! It's a long story, but
no tech support due to glitch...can anyone share on the
following:
Re-recorded AA attendant message...don't understand
CCR and Trees vs. Path.
During programming violent thunderstorm...programming
interrupted...corrupted.
Stayed late to no avail....reset system this a.m.
AA attendant is ok, message 1 is ok, but extension to that
?Path some are lost and can't upload 2, 3, 4, etc.
No calls from outside, some inside can ring, some can't.

With all due respect, you are in over your head. Call a technician familiar with Nortel and watch/ask as he/she programs.

I hate to repeat myself, but...

What I'm getting at- All of us that post answers here do so free of charge, though we make our living at it from 9-5...

At some point, it does behoove us to provide on site service at charge, rather than typing away for your benefit while our wives harp at us for doing so.
If I were an accountant, I could provid free online advice to anyone needing advice this time of year, but if I did, I would be slitting my throat.

You can start at looking at the FAQ's, How do I Program CCR on a flash?

You will need to de-activate the CCR Tree before changing it. once logged in go to AA, Table, enter the table number, most likely 1, ok, press ok until you get to Morn CCR tree, press chng or disable on the left button on the screen, do the same for the aftn, eve & NBus. Pres ** to go back to main menu, press Other, CCR, Admin, enter Tree 1 if that is the correct tree you want to change, press CHNG.

At Path, if you want to change the main message "for sales press 1, 2 for production, 3 for admin" get the drift, then that would be path 0, if you want to change the path for lets sam sales then press 1, if you have sub menue's in sales say once I press 1 and now I still have 2 more options "international sales press 1, NA sales press 2" then to access NA sales you would put 12, telling the system sub menue 1, 0ption 2 off that menu.

So if you enter path 1 for lets say sales press CHNG, INT, there you will see the extension you want to rout the call to, press CHNG and enter the extension, ok and the system brings you back to Path: enter 2 for the next one and continue, once done, press End, Save, Yes and you are done.

Now you need to re-activate the CCR Tree, press *, AA, Table, 1, press OK untill you are back to Mor CCR Tree: no, press chng and enter 1, do this for the next AFTN, EVe, NBus and you are done.

With the CCR Tree active you can still go view all your options and confirm if your extensions have been wiped out. press OTHR, CCR, Admin enter 1 and go through as if you are making your changes, don't get to excited because if your tree is active at the end it will not let you save your changes, it will tell you Tree active, but at least you can view your entire tree and see what has been sapped.

Actually its a great product it works beautifly if you know how to program and maintain it. I dont think I have seen many phone systems regardless of the brand and model that will survive a thunderstorm if lighting hits.
now if the system defaulted that means that the internal battery is gone, also taht telll me that this system is probably very old.
as for the no tech support due to glitch, that to me, means one of 2 things, they let their maintenace contract with someone lapse and they dont want to pay for someone to come out and charge them a 3 or 4 hr minimun.
or they did not pay their bills and now their service company is refusing to service them.
