Introduction
This Bulletin is being re-issued to extend the retirement date for the NT5D03FB, NT5D03PB, NT5D61AB, NT5D61BB, NT5D2104, NT5D21AA and NT5D21DA in all markets from December 1, 2004 to April 2, 2004. The NT5D03FB/PB (128M/160M) are Call Processors based on the Motorola 68060E processor module (CP4). These packs in conjunction with the NT5D61AB/BB (IODUC) and NT5D21AA/DA/04 (Shelf unit) form the CP4 Call Processor core. The core performs the call processing function for the Option 51C, Option 61C, Option 81C, Succession 1000M Half Group, Succession 1000M Single Group and the Succession 1000M Multi Group systems. Note that while every effort will be made to fill orders up to the retirement date, there are only a limited number of these packs available due to component availability. Once this inventory has been depleted no further packs will be made available.
In addition to the specific codes listed above, this notice will also consider previous vintages to be discontinued, as well as the NT5D10xx (CP3) series of processors (68060). These packs are no longer available for ordering, however they will have repair support until October 2007.

Alternative/Replacement Products/Solutions
The NT4N64AA is the replacement processor for the NT5D03FB and NT5D03PB. The NT4N64AA is a Pentium based processor and as such cannot directly replace the CP4 Call Processors. There are several kits available to convert a CP4 shelf to a CPP shelf. See product catalog for details.
Customer Actions
Repair services will be maintained for this pack until the end of life date. Any plan to upgrade your PBX Call Processors should seriously consider moving to the Pentium based platform. This will ensure the ability to move to current software releases.
