Absolute "enterprise phone system" beginner here, so please bear with me.

I've been tasked with modifying our phone setup at work. We use a Nortel BCM50e to manage our phone network.

Here's my issue:

We have two phone numbers piggy-backing the same physical line through our ISP. They used to be on two separate physical lines but they were consolidated to save money. The two different phone numbers are for vastly different things and we're running into issues getting people routed to the right place.

What I've tried:

I initially setup a CCR tree with menus and greetings that would direct the caller to the appropriate place. However, callers kept hitting the wrong option and ending up where they shouldn't.

My question:

Is it possible to distinguish and separate incoming calls on a single line, based on the number that was dialed? Bonus points if it will just show up as another physical line ringing in the system since I know how to handle that.

Any help or points in the right direction are greatly appreciated!

Short answer, NO!

Un-consolidate them is your best obvious fix.

This is kind of what I feared.

I think it's VoIP. We use Comcast Business. but I'm not 100% sure if that's what you mean.
