Nortel BCM 50 how to activate DTMF so it will talk to a Gateway

Hay i need to know if anyone has had trouble With DTMF tones within a Nortel BCM 50
using a T7316 Phone, I need to have it give off DTMF tone to access a Gateway over a analog extension. I have been told in the element manager you can change the payload setting to 120 or somthing please help me if you can.

Try using Feature 808 (Long Tones) after you call the analog extension and before you dial your digits. We had a similar issue when trying to interface with a 3rd party door opening controller from an analog port. We noticed that there were no tones when its an internal call. Doing F808 will activate the tones. Hope this helps.
