Nortel BCM 50 2.0 reset not working

I'm attempting to reset a BCM 50 2.0 and I can't seem to get the reset to work. Both LED's are showing a solid green when rebooting. Any ideas?

How are you resetting it.

If you follow the guide it's very straight forward.

to be honest, I have tried this a few times lately myself and cannot get it to work. I use a paperclip to press the reset button (with the case open to insure I am hitting it properly) and it just won't do it. I have done over 50 resets in the past, so I know how it's done. But for some reason it just ain't happening. Level 1 or Level 2 reset.. It seems like it skips a step, or the level 1 or 2 reset function has been bypassed.

I wonder can you reset it via putty like you need to do on the newer releases?.

Reset using pin only works on rel 1,2 3'

Rel5,6 need putty
