Hi
I have a nortel BCM450 in my office and it gives issues on outgoing calls once in a week. When the issue occurs, I am able to make only internal calls. When I try to make outgoing calls by pressing "0" access code, gives "No Free lines available error".Then I need to reset the PRI cable or unplug the DTI card and reset it back. If stil it doesnt comes then I go with soft reboot.
Why this is happening frequestly? what would be the cause?

Check BCM Monitor when it happens and also Alarms in Element Manager.

or unplug the DTI card and reset it back"
If BCM then its called an MBM, are you powering down first then removing/replacing the MBM?

Sounds like a bad DTI MBM since it keeps resetting unless those alarms are cause by you doing the above without first powering down or both.

Check your alarms during the day. Does your PRI card use "clocking" and if so, is it enabled as this will cause frame errors. Some circuits won't need it.
