Nortel BCM 400
We are trying to get the IP Address of the KSU.

We tried Feature 9*8 (telset programming) but it says inactive feature.

Any ideas as where to go from here?

Update:

After awhile we were able to get past this point.

However, we do not know the system password through the phone.

It was changed from the default.

Is there any way to recover it so that we can administer the system.

Thanks again...

I don't know of any method to change it, except via the EM tool. Have you tried connecting to LAN2 with a cross over cable and entering in the default IP address of 10.10.11.1 with 255.255.255.0.

You will need to change your computer to e.g. 10.10.11.2 etc.
If that fails, then try 10.10.10.1, or 10.10.12.1 to 10.10.16.1 etc.
LAN2 isn't normally changed.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

We received some info from another source.

One of our other techs said he will "re-image" the hard drive.

Since this is not a system that is in service, we can start from scratch.

Thanks for your input.
