Nortel BCM 400 FAX Suite

Him I am a network support specialist and researching the FAX Suite options for the Nortel BCM400. We have unified messaging.
I understand that we can recieve FAXES in our Call Pilot Mailbox if we had the FAX Suite keycodes.
My question is how do you setup OUTBOUND faxing from the desktop?
Is there a client that gets installed on the destop that rasterizes a document (adds a printer)then dials out the PRI?
No FAX machine needed?
Can it use the contacts FAX number in Outlook?

Outbound faxing is not too well documented in Nortel's doc but here's how it works;
1-install the desktop messaging client(it will install the Nortel FAX driver)
2-Give access to a line or to a route in the mailbox of the fax user.
3-When the user want to fax a document, he does a "print" to the Nortel FAX then enter the fax number and send it.

Thank for all of the replies, I was hoping that when sending a fax it would utilize the CONTACTS in Outlook 2007.
We have Sharp Printers on the network and they allow fax from the desktop too but does not utilize the Outlook CONTACTS. wish it did and hope that Nortel will be able to utilize.

I think you can do that from Outlook but I believe you have to hace a LAN/CTE license for each user in addition to the UM license. I had to set that up for a customer a while back so they use their Outlook contact list to dial out but I didn't try it for faxing. I don't see what the difference would be though.

Grab some try-n-buy keycodes and give it a try. I think you get 16 or more of them to use for 60 days.
