We have a BCM 200 with software relaese 3.7 on it installed a few days ago. When somebody calls het gets a menu with 3 choices. The menu has been spoken in by a proffesional voice. After the user makes his choice, there comes an built in message which is telling one moment please. Since we have recorded all our own messages, we would like to disable it. Does anybody know how to do this ?
Second if the caller doesn't enter an option he is getting an internal voice which is telling he will be transfered to the telephonist. We would like to disable this also, and make it that when a caller does not press an option. After a few seconds the menu starts again. Any clues ?

First, the greeting you are hearing is what is called the Customized AA menu prompt, turn it off. You do this under greeting tables.

Second, under Operator Settings you must set the attendant to NO in order for people to not be transfered, if you turn this off callers will be disco'd if they don't choose an option.

Good Luck

The setting you told me to change did not change anything.

In the operator settings are the follwing values :

Attendant Available : Off
Business Open : On
Answer Lines : On
Attendant : Nothing filled in
Reset Operator Password : Off

In the greeting table are the following settings :

Attendant Extension : Nothing filled in
Language Preference : Primary
Menu Repeat Key : None
Custom Auto-Attendant
Menu Prompts Enable : On

But still when a caller makes his choice he receives a internal message (One moment please) just before he is transfered. These internal messages need to be disabled.

so you want to get rid of meridian mary? I haven't heard of the ability to turn her off. Sorry i miss understood what you were asking for.
