Nortel & Cisco VPN Client - Simultaneous install

I had another thread in this forum regarding uninstallation of the Nortel VPN client, and that was solved, thanks to everyone's help, but now I'm back to square one, and the problem that led me to the uninstallation snag.

It seems I can't have Cisco's VPN client and Nortel's Contivity VPN client installed on the same computer at the same time.

When you have the Cisco client installed, and try to install the Nortel client, it makes you uninstall the Cisco client.

When you have the Nortel client installed, and then install the Cisco client, the Nortel client stops working.

I might just quit my job and let someone else deal with this

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do with this one. Only one application can bind to IPSec. It is much like trying to run two web servers on port 80. One will work , and one will fail. If using multiple vendors IPSec servers is a requirement, you could try something like RSA's Keon product.
