I have two VLANS implemented on my 8310 switch, first VLAN (VLAN2) which has only 2 of the 250 ports on the switch and the other (VLAN1) which has the remaining 248 ports on the switch.
I have assigned an IP address of 192.168.6.1( 255.255.255.0) to VLAN2 and have assigned IP addressees of 192.168.6.2(255.255.255.0) and 192.168.6.3(255.255.255.0) to the computers connected to those 2 ports in this VLAN.
The other VLAN (VLAN1) which has the remaining 248 ports of this switch does not have an IP address assigned to it however all the computers inside it have a subnet mask of 192.168.0.0/255.255.252.0
I want to enable routing between these two VLANS without using a router.
1) What IP address should I use for the VLAN which has all 248 ports in my switch? (By default it doesnt have any)
2) What static routes should I define and what gateway should I use in my routes to enable routing between each other?

1) Normaly the gateway address for a subnet is the first or last address in the range. i.e 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.3.254

2) Each PC should point to the vlan interface as its default gateway.

As long as routing is enabled then the switch will route between the subnets(vlans) without any static routes adding.
