Nortel 6140 WLAN Handsets continue to ring

We have a couple 6140's setup as the same extension as desk phones for employees who are away from their desk often. If a call gets picked up at the desk, the 6140 will continue to ring untill you hit the end button. Then the phone resets itself. Anyone run into this problem?

yes I had something simular happen a couple weeks ago. It seemed a user was messing with the phone and set the ring to contiuous. I think you need to get to it throught the config key on the phone.

Check the profiles settings by pressing the CFG then scroll to user profiles. Select a profile then scroll to ring settings. Ring cadence should be set to PBX to ring normal.
