Is there any firmware version to the Nortel 5520 that enables by default the spanning tree?

If so what's the firmware version?

Spanning tree is enabled by default on all switches. If you remove the ports from all VLANs, then spanning tree is disabled. You can turn it back on globally once the ports are members of a VLAN via the menu, CLI or web interface.
