Morning all, config question on the 2033 polycoms. here what i have, very large conference room that one 2033 just doesn't cut the mustard . we are looking to place 3 more polycom in this rooms. here where the problem is. this conference room is for our sr mgmnt team and to make this simple as possible for them i would like to give each poly com the same dn so people at the far end of the table can hear and speak when needed . but with the ip 2033 when one ploycom pick up the other can't join on the call . is there a way to have each polycom join in the call without haveing different TN on each 2033 and one conf each of the other 2033 into the call.

What happens if you configure all three units as SCR (Single Call Ringing)?

they all ring as normal, but what they want to be able to do if someone answer the call on polycom 1 they want to be able to press the line key on 2 and 3 and also be on that call . when i test this doesnt work , i know if i use analog polycom and i daisy chain them it will work but on ip polycom it wont work .

They are probably configured as MCR (Multiple Call ringing). Change them to SCR (Single Call Ringing).

Have you looked at getting the extension microphones for the 2033?

I would be afraid of feedback from one unit hearing the speaker output from another.

How big a room are you talking about? If you think you need that number of Polycoms to cover, you may want to bring in a A/V contractor that has experience with business conference room outfitting.
