I have an Option 11c installed with MM R13 at a Hotel, which uses a new version of Remco NiteVision PMS. We can't get the MM Admin Terminal to integrate with the Nitevision Call Accounting and Voice Mail Modules. Can and will MM work with NiteVision PMS???

This would be a question to ask the people that sold you the PMS. However, PMS will not connect to the MerMail terminal but a port setup just for PMS. the defualt is usually 1200, 8/n/1. You can use the GAC terminal to tell when the link to the PMS is up and also to test the link.

As long as the vendors interface complies with RS232 standards, the connection should work provide the settings are correct. Make sure the RSM card in the Opt 11 is set to normal, not bypass. This is a small card located on the bottom right hand corner of the option 11 inside where the amthenols are.

Just in case....
I have had incompatability problems with the RSM card and a Brand New Computer's RS232 chip set. I solved this by putting in a brand new RSM card. Both Nortel, the PC manufacturer and the Jaguar interface people said it wasn't their fault. Fact is there is more than one RS232 standard. Has something to do with the power requirements of the gateway chipset for the PC's RS232 setup. They changed the chip.
