Is there a way to automatically, on a time of day basis, prevent outside calls answered by a NAM from ringing into classrooms when the classroom extension is dialed?
Thanks
Tom

Can you put a DO NOT DISURB button on the phone? That way at least they could control it.

Or they can punch in the feature code. They would have to punch it in again with a # in front when they want to cancel it.

yes thats the way to go ...

feature 85 to enable DND
feature #85 to allow calls ...

you can save this a button if you want to ...like hawks says

thanks everyone...that's kinda what I thought, I was hoping there was some type of time of day routing I was unaware of.
Thanks Again
Tom

You can however put a night button on the receptionist phone in the front school office, when she is at her desk she can recieve the phone calls and transfer calls to VMAIL, she can also put all the phones in the front office into a pickup group and give everyone a pickup button if they hear her phone ringing anyone in the office can do a pickup. At this point if she has the teacher's schedule she can transfer the call or send it to the teacher's mailbox. When they leave they can touch the button and turn the Voicemail on.

sounds promising...how would I go about setting that up? Also, if I didn't associate the teacher's mb with an extension, basically making it a Guest MB, would that prevent the ringing when using dial by name?
Thanks
Tom
