Norstar VoIP Gateway password.

I have posted this question in the Norstar Forum and opened a ticket with Nortel to no avail.
Perhaps someone in the M1 forum is better informed.

Customer screwed up password for Norstar IP Gateway.
Anyone know how to default password?

What I have determined so far:
Note: If you have forgotten the web interface password, you can reset the password by changing the ResetWebPassword parameter in the INI file.
For information about changing the INI file, refer to "Configuring the VoIP Gateway using the INI file" on page 85.

Only problem is that if you want to "configure the VOIP gateway using the ini file" you need to know the password. Or am I RTFM wrong?

you are correct, a lost password can only be recovered through nortel level 3 or above, the default password is overwritten with each change and the backdoor password does not work without the correct encryption file...

What about using TFTP to upload the ini file manipulate through notepad and download back into the gateway?
