norstar voip gateway analog vs digital

Hi, I have a norstar voip gateway and after reading through the instructions. I was wondering if I can use "digital" station ports rather than "analog" station ports for connectivity or do I need to convert to analog.

It comes out of the Gateway as Analog to connect to Trunk cards on the system.
