Hello everyone,
I have what I think is a strange problem but some of you may think it's simple. Please help!
I have a Norstar telephone that has a Norstar voice mailbox. Because lines are ringing on the telephone I do not have Call Forward No Answer programmed to the voice mail DN. With my previous experience, if a call was answered by the auto-attendant and the caller dialed an extension number that had a mailbox but didn't have CFNA programmed then the Norstar systems Transfer Callback Feature would transfer the call back to the voice mail system and the caller would get the appropriate mailbox. This time it isn't working. After 3 rings (which is the same as the transfer callback) the reception phone begins ringing along with the extension. The Norstar systems DRT to prime is set to N.
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?
Thanks for your time.
