Norstar Tones

I have a MICS with some older software that has no problems producing tones on originating calls, however when calls are recieved it will not generate tones. Example: A collect call comes into the system and when the called party is asked to hit 0 to accept the phone will not output a tone. Has anyone ever heard of this???

Is there supervision on the lines from Telco? Is so, is it turned on in the programming. Are these POTs lines or T-1 or PRI? Try Feature 808 as a temporary solution....

This is usually where a digitone transceiver is down. It is a bench repair or KSU replacement depends on the costs/customers involved.
