I have a customer that had a power problem with Norstar MICS 1.1 and now when they reset time it does not advance. Would this be software problem? Has anyone seen this before

It could be a glitch from the power spike. Go into maintenance and restart the system

how old is the system, many have said to change the battery of a system but I've never took the time to figure where it is when you open the KSU

It's a lithium battery on the motherboard

MICS 1.1 had this time problem. Had several had to go on every six months or so, back it up, and recycle power. Nortel confirmed.
