Hello

Does anyone know how to restrict all outgoing calls for a specific line on a terminal, but still allow incoming calls on that same terminal to be answered?

You need to set up a line per set filter to restrict all outgoing calls on a specific line for a specific phone. It will not affect incoming calls and the user will still be able to answer calls on the restricted line. Brian Cox

Go into programming Feature * * 266344 Password: 266344
Terminals&Sets - Press the upper right button that has lit up in your display.
Show set: ___ - Enter the extension number you want to program. i.e., 223
223:223 - Press the upper right button again
Line access - PRess the lower right button until you see
Restrictions - Upper right button
Restrn Filters - Upper right
Show Filter: 05 - This being a filter you probably do not have in use.
Restrn flt 05 - Upper right
No restrictions - Press Add
Restrn 01: - Dial 1 then press the ANY button in the display
Then press OK
Restrn 01:1*> - Press ADD
Restrn 02: - Dial 2 then ANY then ok
Press ADD - Dial 3 ANY OK
Continue to ADD 4ANY, 5ANY,6ANY,7ANY,8ANY,9ANY
Press the upper left button
Restrn flt 05 - Header
Restrn flts - Lower right button
Set Restrns - Lower right
Line/ set rstrns - Upper right
Show line: ___ - enter the line number you want to restrict from this phone.
Line049:Line049 - Upper right
Normal: None - Press Change and enter 05.

This phone is now restricted from making any calls out on that one specific line. MRoberts

Mel, for a shortcut in building Filter 05 you could just enter ANY ANY ANY as Restriction 01. Then assign it to sets that need the restriction as you outlined.
