Anyone decided on the date for this forum's annual get-together. Last years was great in the Bahamas, and it was nice of Nortel to pick up the tab for all of us. The food and entertainment was great too. Also, the weather was perfect for it.





Well, I'm just dreaming, but there are so many great members on this forum and it sure would be nice to get to meet you. I'm cold today and thinking of warmer places and how much I enjoy the people that make this such a great forum. Looks like we are currently at 4815 members. What a nice party. Thanks to all of you.

Los Angeles is cold today, unleaded gas is $2.17 a gallon, but i'm happy, about this forum that is.

Bright sunshine, clear blue skies, and a warm breeze says springtime in the Canadian Rockies is close at hand. Even starting to see mortorcycles on the road.
p.s $0.75/litre here for regular. Thats about $3.40 per gallon, or $2.10 US per US gallon

Well flower count is over. The cherry blossoms are snowing all over the roads and it looks like boating weather. Marv0 a get together would be fun... perhaps this forum will go 'net meeting/video conferencing' sometime. After all we are techies.. yes?

My son attends SF State. Very pretty city, but very eclectic. Gas was about $2.09 for regular when I visited SF in October. I hate to tell you that regular is only $1.59 in the Atlanta metro area.

Here in East Central Ilinois (near Effingham I-75 & I-70) it's cloudy & 41, expecting 2-4" of snow tonight. Glad I rode the Harley on Saturday. But then, they are saying mid 50's by the weekend. Unleaded is $1.70 prem is $1.82

NYC is OK, but at $349 per night at the holiday inn, I would vote for the Canadian Rockies. Thats quite a drive from Jasper to Lake Louise!

Just a follow up to Sprucegrover...

Why is it that you have to stop when a moose crosses the road in the middle of town to let them pass, but when you sit down to eat (in the same town) the moose is on the menu???

42 here in hyde park ny " between nyc and albany" and expecting 6 to 8 inches on snow tuesday for a great ski day on st pats day ...great if ya ski...unleaded is 1.80 for reg and is rising fast.

I like the way this thread evolved.
I'm over my chills now. Weather in southern Kansas in the 60's this week, and supposed to see low 70's later in the week. They tested the tornado sirens here today to make sure they are ready for the twister season.
Gas price here: $1.69 and rising rapidly. Does that mean that we won't be driving to this years reunion?

It has warmed up very well in Northern VA, Dc area but traffic is worst then ever. Gas in my area 1.55 per gallon. in DC 1.89 per gallon. I appreciate all the help and great attitude of this forum. Thanks to all.
