norstar open developer program

Has anyone participated in the norstar open developer program and if so is it worth buying ($ 500.00). I have an opportunity to do some custom programming (screen pops) for a firm that owns a norstar modular 4. They have a cta-100 (no documentation) My back ground is in C++ programming with experience With API's and dialogic.

I would applaud your efforts to provide this service to your customer. I, likewise, have one who loves the SMDR information output and would likewise, I believe, go for a customized database lookup program.

But the hooks (from Nortel's own CT-100 program or Rapport from RSI (who is a Nortel certified developer) (www.telecost.com) now seem to be aimed at Goldmine and ACT, which do not exactly fit the needs of the customer. Something that would hook into a standard Access database would be ideal.

But I am not a programmer, so that will have to be accomplished by someone else!

I also have a CTA 100 w/o docs and with an obsolete software. I am a programmer and would be willing to work on call logging software and more (to the extent of what CTA100 has to offer).

If any have doc on that, Windows API, anything ! Please email...

I too need to create an Access database using the output from the SMDR6 on a MICS4.1. Does anyone have the data format/ data structure from the SMDR6? Or know where I can obtain this information without having to fork over $500 for an Open Membership.

Hey, It may be possible that the unified messaging in the new call pilots render all the old CT100 stuff gone....
