I have a Norstar NAM that occasionally stops working but is easily corrected by a reboot. I happens once or twice a year and has been this way since it was first installed over 6 years ago. Other than this occasional lockup (or call it a failure), it works fine. There is adequate power conditioning on the AC so I don't believe it is a power issue. Does anybody have have any ideas? -- Hardware problem? -- Software problem? -- Thanks

6 yrs old...what software release....are know issues with older releases

Check the software version under F983 - login - press 9. The R4.0.04A had problems with channels "going to sleep." The only permanent solution is to upgrade the NAM software.

Possible mismatch of software level to the KSU. Also NAMs are a littlew flakely. Not surprising!
