We have a Minuet ACD that was left inactive. I have all the passwords and configurations. I just need to know how to activate the ACD.

Hitting the ACD status feature code shows that ACD is inactive. Also, ACD agents trying to log in say inactive feature. The ACD was never fully configured. Our phone guy was "trying" to set it up.

Does anybody have documentation on this ACD?

What is the code to activate it?

What we are trying to setup is an incoming caller queue where they will listen to announcements and music while waiting for next available agent. Currently we have Hunt Groups setup and a CCR tree. The AA picks up incoming calls and routes to a single DN and 8 other DN's are set to ANSWER DN that single extension. I know there is a better way.

Thanks for any help.

try feature 920
try reboot the nam

or else you need the floppy wth software and "key" from cintech to reinstall

F920 gets me into ACD admin but where do I tell the ACD to be active. Is it through the Lines menu and assign an incoming line? I tried it but I get invalid lines.

Thanks...

I am still trying to figure out how to activate the ACD to start answering lines. Does anybody have a manual for the Minuet ACD?

the Minuet doesnt answer calls that come in as DIDs ...

if thats what you are trying to do ..hunt groups or an upgrade to prelude (which means getting a new ACD)

the newer releases of minuet have a pri (did) option. but it is dependent on the version of software and release of NVM you are using. best suggestion is to get the data about your phone system including the SN of the NAM and versions of the MICS, NVM and Minuet and call CINTEC. they are very helpful and can explain to you what needs to be done next. it sounds like you have too new a s/w release of minuet for the VM you are operating on.

If voting could really change things, it would be illegal.

The MICS and the NAM have to be rebooted at the same time. Just rebooting the NAM will not re-activate the Minuet. If the MICS is not restarted, the Feature codes 901,902,903, etc will not be installed
