Can I replace a M0x16 digital station module norstar without powering down the whole system?

Thanks for the reply. I just want to take this a little farther. I plan to power down the module, unplug the fiber and the amphenol and then replace the mod. Then simply reverse the steps to bring it up. Any issues with that or is that OK?
