I have a customer with a Norstar MICS and ISDN PRI. They frequently have customer's that call in on a DID number/B channel and want to be redirected back out of the KSU to their salesman's cell phone. Can someone tell me what ANI information does the Norstar provide when dialing back out to call the cell phone?

Call ID is from the line it calls out on in the system. You are transfering to an external number when doing that you are grabing an other line to dial out then connecting the recived call to the dialed cell phone. So the id does not get transfred out from the incoming call.

Cook1082 is correct. I have ran into this situation a couple of times. First you know that there is 3 ways to transfer calls to the salesmans cellphone depending on the equipment and software version of your system. (1) External Call Forward for the salesman extension; all calls internal or external will be forwarded. (2) Call Redirect from his DID number; only external calls. (3) Call forward from the Callpilot user Voiceprompt."press 7 now to reach my phone." The later is the best possible solution from my experience due to the fact that the user can manage this feature easily. More importantly let your customer know that you cannot see the calling parties information but you are able to manipulate the system to differentiate between a inner office call and a external transfered call!
