Norstar MICS and PRI

Hi All and Seasons Greetings!

Have a quick question...I want to get a PRI in to our shop here and need to know exactly what I have to buy for our MICS to support this. I am told that I will need a Service/Clock card as well as the T1 Line Card. Can someone enlighten me on this?

Correct. You need a T1 trunk card, either a services card or 6-port combo card. Also, MICS software should be R4.1 or higher (I understand 4.0 was buggy), and a PRI enabler keycode. Brian Cox

Brian is correct, You also need to make sure the PRI circuit is set up with B8ZS ESF NI-2 I always like to have them to send me 4 digits... Good luck M.Parnell
