Hey Gang!

You guys have been so great with my queston so far...I'm asking again! :)

Here's the scoop: We just installed a PRI card in our Norstar and hooked it up to a Gordon Kapes T1 simulator. Trouble is...we need to know how to program this darn thing to access it thru a Hunt Group or Line Pool and add sets (DN's) to it. You see, we already have a working Auto-Attendant (our own) using a Service and a Line Pool with the Analog Trunk card in the switch. This is how our current setup is. We will eventually dump the analog stuff in lieu of the PRI if we can get it tested properly. It's seems to be working fine and is synched up we just need to know how to make it a group of lines that we can assign sets to.

TIA

Pikk

I think (correct me if I am wrong) You are trying to set up the recieved digits from the PRI provider and Point those trunks to the VMAIL auto Attendant?

If this is the case I will point you too lines, Show line 157, set up the rcvd # that you are getting from the provider DNIS digits, assign line 157 to auto attendant, any time that # is dialed the auto attendant will answer depending on # of ports available.

Hi,

I guess, sort of...but maybe not. I apologize for the last, rather convoluted message. Basically what we have currently is 10 trunk lines from the CO. These are setup as a HG by Bell. When a call comes into the switch, our Auto-Attendant answers. The Auto-Attendant is a PC using a D82 Dialogic card and our custom IVR software. The D82 is setup with DN's from 300 to 307. We have a ringing service and our Trunk lines are assigned to this and the DN's are assigned to the group. Now...what we want to do eventually is to remove the analog trunk lines and have a just a T1 but for the purposes of testing our AA, we want to keep the trunk lines up and running (obviously our business needs these) and add the T1 trunk as a new service and assign either a HuntGroup or ringing service to it. We want to be able to connect a separate Auto-Attendant to different DN's and use the T1 to test calling into this second box.

Thnx!

P' :)
