I have a site that experienced a CICS 4.2 failure. A few of the ports stopped working. When you plug a phone in the LEDs will not stop flashing and you cannot get dialtone. I tried to swap the ports and found that at least 3 other ports were doing the came thing. I have replacement CICS cabinet coming. When I swap the cabinet out, do I have to completely reprogram the system or does the site information reside ont he Software feature card?

Flash cards only have Features and structure, you will need to reprogram but you can use Norstar Remote Utilities to back up the old KSU and upload to the new.
If you pay for a Technician to swap out for you it would be done within the hour.
Not all techs carry a Remote Access Device and Laptop with NRU it seems so request that he/she brings both.
