Norstar: Meaning of Red/Green light inside MOX16 Station Module?

I was looking inside my Norstar MOX16 station modules and I noticed that some of them had a red light inside and others had a green light. What is the menaing of red or green?

Only if the red or green light is blinking tells that it has had a fault and needs to be replaced.

There is another meaning to the lights: red= naughty; green=nice. The red ones don't get presents this year.........
