Is there a way to use Norstar VM Manager when connecting to a site via a Fast Rad?

No. A NVM session is made via the NAM's modem or network port. If the NAM does not have a physical modem you can activate the NAM's virtual modem in F915.

can the virtual modem be activated remotely? Enter F915 via NRU, then prompted for the password but cannot enter anything.

After F915 are you entering 2223772 (ACCESS2)? You should be able to do this through NRU. The other password is for changing the modem options.

right...I get through with ACCESS2, but when I try to change the modem from real to virtal I'm prompted for another password
