No matter how I try and delete, remove all files/folders, start over. Etc. I cannot get Norstar Remote Manager to work again on a Windows XP PC that it used to work on. I can access the folders where the customer database is and see all my systems and system details but when I highlight a system and then try to open the remote tools I always get this error:
Error: Norstar Manager for Windows
The file is corrupt. The operation requested will be aborted.
Important note, At one point I deleted absolutely everything, went to the Avaya support website and downloaded 3.5 for XP all over again, and then tried to set up a new system and then connect to it and I got the same file is corrupt message. On a brand new entry in a newly loaded application with all old stuff deleted and the PC rebooted.
Do you suppose it is the PC at this point?
Have any of you encountered this and have a solution please?
